Judy Jiang is a writer and photographer from Oregon.

She was raised by her parents in a home with her grandfather and three siblings. Judy’s writing and photography can be found in Oregon Humanities, Buckman Journal (forthcoming), Neon Door, and elsewhere. Judy is a 2024 Periplus Fellow and a 2024 Anaphora Arts Fellow. She is currently at work on a memoir on daughterhood and loss.

As a teaching artist, Judy has supported students and creative writing instruction with Literary Arts, Arts for Learning NW, and Carpe Mundi. Judy also writes The Foyer Chronicles, a newsletter of stories for remembering where we’ve been and reconsidering where we’re going.
